FAINT TRACES is a English language short film set in Paris. It's a minimalist, character-driven narrative focused on the nuances of everyday queer intimacy, unresolved family ties, and emotional withholding.

Logline:
The story follows Lola and Emma, two young women navigating an undefined yet emotionally charged relationship. Their days are filled with routine rebellion-petty theft, cigarettes, and shared silence in a cramped artist's apartment. Beneath the surface, a quiet tension builds.
When Emma unexpectedly proposes they visit a wealthy woman's apartment-someone she "knows". Lola agrees, unaware of the deeper personal context. What begins as another impulsive act shifts dramatically when the woman turns out to be Emma's mother. The situation forces both Emma and Lola into a moment of emotional reckoning. Inside the apartment, past and present collide. Emma is faced with the person she left behind, while Lola is pulled into a family history she never expected to witness.
After the encounter, Emma and Lola return to their shared space.
